Partial suspensions can be so much more than “half a tie towards suspension.” They are playful, versatile, and deeply immersive when used with intention. This workshop invites you to break free from rigid patterns and sequences and instead explore partials as a creative, emotional playground.
Together, we’ll experiment with ways to use partials to create intensity, build atmosphere, and shift emotional tone. You’ll learn to use partials not only for their physical positions but also as tools for dialogue and emotional expression—from playful teasing to moments of vulnerability and surrender. Also using micro movements and body handling to get to a point where things become more subtle and interesting in your rope scene
We’ll focus on creative construction, emotional layering, and improvisation, helping you design partials that are less about technical replication and more about authentic connection. This workshop will give you the tools to confidently move beyond formulas and build rope experiences that feel unique and alive.
