Furoshiki (風呂敷) are traditional Japanese wrapping cloths traditionally used to wrap and/or to transport goods. Generally there is a great consideration on the aesthetics of furoshiki, which usually is made by hand-painted designs. While they come in a variety of sizes, they are typically square.

The first furoshiki cloths were tsutsumi ("wrapping"), used during the Nara period as protection for precious temple objects.

Our Furoshiki are 90cm * 90cm and are used to store and transport your shibari equipment.
